Lollapalooza Berlin 2015 – A Review
So much music, so much fun! For the sold-out crowd at Lollapalooza Berlin, the fantastic line-up of top acts like Muse, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Sam Smith, Deichkind, The Libertines, Bastille, Seeed, Beatsteaks, Fatboy Slim and many more turned into two days of sheer musical bliss.
Held on September 12-13 in Berlin, the much anticipated first Lollapalooza Festival on European soil brought its signature vibe to the historic Tempelhof Airfield, where more than 50,000 visitors per day joined the party. What began in the 90s as an alternative rock festival in the US – and since 2005 is held annually in Grant Park, Chicago – has become a worldwide phenomenon among music festivals by featuring its successful mix of top acts as well as cutting-edge newcomers and wrapping it all into a fun, vibrant, and imaginative celebration with comedy, fashion and art.
You can find Lollapaloozas in Brazil, Chile and Argentina, and now in Berlin! As an official sponsor of the festival, Warsteiner was well represented with its adventure world around the Warsteiner Dome – a popular destination to chill and refresh with our cold beers while enjoying some fun activities like colorful DIY body painting, golden temporary tattoos and taking lots of souvenir photos in the Warsteiner photo booth! Hope to see you in 2016 at Lollapalooza Berlin again! Until then…party on!
