International Summer Festivals Rock Germany
Just as the recent heat wave has come to an end, it‘s going to be hot again! But this time, no one is complaining!
It’s festival season in Warsteiner’s homeland, and that means time for partying with old and new friends, camping and relaxing to the music while cooling off with a refreshing Warsteiner after a particularly hot dance session. To make sure our summer festival fans stay well hydrated, Warsteiner will be omnipresent at the following events:
The party starts at the MELT! festival held from July 17 -19 in the City of Iron, Ferropolis, in Saxony-Anhalt. With top acts like Sven Väth and Kylie Minogue, it’s going to be melting pot hot, no matter what the weather brings. With more than 20,000 fans making the pilgrimage, this “best medium size festival” will be a three-day blowout for music fans across Europe. The legendary Warsteiner Backstage, the festival‘s favorite chill spot, once again kicks things off with its sizzling warm-up party on Thursday evening, welcoming fans to three days of music and pure enjoyment!
On the very same weekend, the Parookaville Dance Festival opens its gates at the airport in Weeze near the Dutch border. For three days, a new city emerges, solely dedicated to electronic dance music, calling upon its citizens with its mantra “May madness, love and pure bliss govern this city.“ A top-notch line-up of international DJs such as Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Martin Solveig, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike as well as Deorro and Robin Schulz is poised to rock the city, guaranteeing that thousands of new residents will be sworn in at this international dance capital. With 65,000 m2 of event space and an additional 75,000 m2 reserved for camping, the city of Parookaville has room for everybody, and Warsteiner makes sure that no one will go thirsty!
On September 10-12, the 21st edition of SWR3 New Pop Festival descends upon the city of Baden-Baden in the Black Forest. Held in various top-caliber venues throughout this beautiful city, this festival features international stars such as Tove Lo, Kwabs, Years & Years, James Bay, Katzenjammer and Kelvin Jones. With Warsteiner available at all locations, fans will be well taken care of to enjoy the great shows!
And if you hurry, you can catch a train from Baden-Baden to Berlin on the last day just in time to continue partying at the grand dame of summer festivals, the Loolapalooza extravaganza! Held from September 12-13 on the grounds of the famous Tempelhof Airport, this flagship event dazzles with a line-up that includes Muse, Macklemore & Lewis, Sam Smith and Deichkind among many others. For two days, you will be in music and dance heaven, but no worries, Warsteiner will be there to provide some much needed refreshment and chill time! So stay tuned, it’s going to be a great summer!
