Molo Street Parade in Rimini – A Review
What a night it was! On the last Saturday in June, more than 200,000 revelers joined in the celebration of the 5th Molo Street Parade in the Italian resort town of Rimini, dancing through the night and enjoying each other’s company.
This splendid kick-off of the Italian summer party season is known for its lively atmosphere on the mile long harbor pier where twelve fishing vessels serve as floating consoles for a total of 80 DJs from around the world. From classical to techno, afro to house – this sunset to sunrise dance party of mega proportion offered something for everyone!
To keep the festivities well fueled all night, Rimini’s restaurants and chefs served plenty of delicious food along the party mile, foremost, of course, the local delicacy: the crispy grilled sardine – a perfect match for our cold, refreshing premium beers! In addition to teaming up with about 30 food and beverage stands, Warsteiner was well represented with two large Warsteiner bars which quickly became favorite gathering spots for the joyous crowd.
At the special “Chiringuito Warsteiner” or beach-side bar, the innovative Warsteiner Mash Machine allowed music lovers to follow their passion and turn into DJs with their own compilations. As part of the Warsteiner-sponsored attractions, the street artist Filippo Mozone, one of the protagonists of the Warsteiner Art Battle, dazzled the crowd with his live painting performances and fashioned custom shirts for our guests.
And just as the sun comes up after a night of dancing, the Molo Street Parade in Rimini surely will take off again in 2017. So, if you want to experience this incredible party next year, stay tuned!
