Sole Selectors – A Look at Musical Heroes!

These artists are our musical heroes who sooth our soul, tease our mind and, above all, offer a space where you can dream and follow your passion!
To honor the musical heroes of the electronic music scene, Warsteiner and Cover present for the second year in a row in the run-up to and during the Dekmantel festival the unique video documentary series called “Sole Selectors.” Through numerous interviews and recordings, Sole Selectors offers an intimate look into the lives of exceptional DJs, such as the Dutch Godfather of electronic music, Steve Rachmad, who unconditionally follow their passion and inspire us to do the same. Whether they spend most of their time behind the turntables to put together the ideal compilation, or rummage through local record stores for that elusive bootleg still missing in their vinyl collection, each one has a unique story to tell about the impact of music in their lives.
Presented on a special stage during the Dekmantel festival, Sole Selectors tells stories of passion, glory, sacrifice and satisfaction, and what it means to “Do It Right.” It’s a must-see for any music lover who feels that music is more than an arrangement of beats and sounds.
