Warsteiner Shines at the Affordable Art Fair in Milan
Ever wonder how some of today’s successful art collectors got their start? By discovering promising artists early in their careers and buying their creations before the prices soared sky-high. Or by just falling in love with a particular piece of art that tugs at your heart, blows your mind and touches your soul!
At the Affordable Art Fair, held at the Superstudio Più in Milan, Italy, for four exciting days in March, more than 15,000 visitors had the chance to get a piece of the action. With 95 international and local galleries showcasing the work of young, emerging artists, as well as more established artists, the selection ranged from paintings and prints to sculpture and photography, with prices from $500 to $6000. In addition to providing a vibrant marketplace for young artists, this expo offered educational workshops and collaborative sessions to highlight trends in the current art scene.
For Warsteiner, the official sponsor of the Affordable Art Fair, the show presented the perfect opportunity to further extend the brand’s support of young talent – from special exhibits of emerging artists to press and blogger sessions to art from the BLOOOM Award by Warsteiner.
Throughout the show, the Warsteiner Corner featured live performances by artists, offering a fantastic forum for interactions between artists and visitors. After hosting a raucous opening night party complete with entertainment as well as refreshments from the well-stocked Warsteiner Bar, the daily Warsteiner Happy Hour further facilitated networking between artists, gallerists, visitors, buyers, and critics. Who knows, maybe some lucky art lover went home with the next Picasso all wrapped up!
