60th Anniversary – BMW PGA Championship
What a finish! The final round of the BMW PGA Championship at the famous Wentworth Golf Club in the UK was a nail biter right to the very end as Rory McIlroy anxiously awaited his closest rivals Shane Lowry and Luke Donald to play the 18th. Although Lowry holed a monster putt to finish at 13 under par, McIlroy was still ahead by one stroke. Next, Donald landed his approach shot in the water just shy of the 18th green, and McIlroy could finally raise his arms in triumph as the 2014 Champion!

The German fans also had reasons to cheer as Marcel Siem and Martin Kaymer improved their performance compared to 2013 by reaching a top 10 place (7th) and a 12th place, respectively.
