2013 FIS Worldcup in Willingen Review
Germany - The Warsteiner Brewery was once again the exclusive beer partner of the 2013 FIS Ski Jumping Worldcup in Willingen. As in previous years, the FIS Worldcup tour kicked off in Willingen before moving to Klingenthal and then to Oberstdorf for the final ski jumping competition.
Approximately 30,000 ski jumping fans cheered on top athletes like Gregor Schlierenzauer, Thomas Morgenstern and Martin Schmidt as well as Richard Freitag and Severin Freund with enthusiastic shouts of encouragement to push the limits and go for great distances at the Mühlenkopfschanze, considered the largest ski jump in the world.
The cancelation of the ski jumping events on Sunday due to high winds did not hamper the fantastic atmosphere among spectators and fans who continued to celebrate into the early morning hours with a freshly tapped WARSTEINER.
